Last week, journalist Angel de Brito posted on X: “I spoke with Antonela, and she confirmed that the pregnancy rumors are false. She said the media has been trying to ‘pin’ a pregnancy on her for the past three years.”

Messi and his wife welcomed their first son, Thiago, in 2012. Three years later, their second son, Mateo, was born. In 2018, a year after their wedding, the 2022 World Cup champion and his wife welcomed their third son, Ciro.

Speculation about the couple possibly wanting a fourth child began two years ago. During an appearance on a streaming platform, Messi opened up about personal matters, stating: “We’d like to have another baby. We’re not actively trying, but let’s see if a little girl comes along.”
In 2023, amid rumors of marital issues, another journalist, Naiara Vecchio, shared: “Regarding Lionel and Antonela Roccuzzo, I spoke with people close to them, and they’re very happy. In fact, they’re hoping for a girl.”
Antonela previously led a private life but has since built her own business ventures. The wife of the Argentine superstar is also a philanthropist and an influencer with nearly 40 million followers. She owns a children’s fashion brand and collaborates with various companies. The mother of three studied dentistry but chose not to pursue it, instead supporting Messi throughout his career at Barcelona, PSG, and now Inter Miami.
