Just two months after The Weeknd’s explosive Super Bowl performance, the “Blinding Lights” singer has fans buzzing once again after announcing his upcoming collaboration with Ariana Grande. On Instagram, the singer shared a short audio clip of what sounds like his song “Save Your Tears” with an added female voice, tagging Grande in the caption. With no other details, including a release date, fans began a frenzy in the comments, speculating about the new remix. The “Thank U, Next” songstress also posted the recording with the same brevity of details.

While leaving fans little to go on, it’s easy to see why they’re so excited by the news. In 2014, the artists’ released their single “Love Me Harder” for Grande’s My Everything album. The song was met with a huge success, eventually going triple platinum. The Weeknd, born Abel Tesafaye, also co-wrote and was featured on her song “Off the Table” from Grande’s most recent album Positions.

According to the audio clip, their new song is a remix of “Save Your Tears” from Tesafaye’s recent After Hours album. In the video, an echoey voice can be heard singing the lyrics, “I don’t know why I run away.” The album broke the record for most pre-saves around the world on Apple Music and was met with much critical and commercial success. However, much of the conversation around the record stems from its snub at the Grammys.

Despite assuring officials he could do both, coordinators of the Grammy Awards told Tesfaye he had to choose between performing at the Super Bowl or the Grammys. Subsequently, when he chose the sporting event, his album received no nominations. Many, including the artist himself, claimed that this was a result of not agreeing to perform at the ceremony. However, representatives from the Recording Academy deny the accusations.
