Dua Lipa may be entering a brand-new era in terms of music with her new single “Houdini,” but don’t worry — her style is still as bold as it’s always been.
Case in point? On Thursday night, the pop star was spotted celebrating the release of the first song from her upcoming third album at Chiltern Firehouse in London with her boyfriend Romain Gavras while wearing an outfit that was the very epitome of the phrase “go big or go home.” For the occasion, Dua stepped out in a white tank top bedazzled with rows of rhinestones, a gray wool overcoat, and the boldest pants in her new signature color. For the bottom portion of her look, she slipped on a pair of dark crimson red leather trousers with a croc-embossed pattern, which she teamed with optic white pointed-toe pumps.
Dua carried a silver metallic purse in her arms, and accessorized with gold hoops and a smattering of rings. She pulled her fiery red hair back into a ’90s-style spiky bun while finishing off her glam with shimmery eyeshadow, fluffy brows, and a swipe of pink lipstick.
Last night, Dua announced the release of her dance-pop hit “Houdini” with a stylish music video to match. In a clip posted to her Instagram page, Dua wore a fishnet corset top, navy track pants, and Puma sneakers as she dances around in a nightclub filled with people.
“HOUDINI! OUT! NOW! EVERYWHERE! So it begins… thank you for your patience. The first release from my upcoming album🫀 feeling so filled with love and joy to get to do this with “the band” and to share this moment with the world,” she wrote. “Thank you to the absolute dream team who made this video with me 🔐❤️ bruises sweat n tears!! worth every moment!!! I hope you love it as much as we’ve loved making this for you.”
