Dua Lipa has teased “surprise launch events” for her new single, Houdini.
Ahead of the release of her new single Houdini, the pop star took to X/Twitter to announce that she will be celebrating the launch with three “surprise launch events” this month.
“I’m putting on three surprise launch events for Houdini in London, Los Angeles and Tokyo,” Dua, 28, wrote in the post on Monday. “The first one’s going to be in my hometown, London, this Thursday!!!”
She added, “I’m going to be inviting down some of my fans from the UK and around Europe, so keep your eyes peeled.”
The announcement comes soon after the performer first teased her upcoming single. She shared a short clip on Instagram featuring a snippet of the new song, which was later confirmed to be titled Houdini, presumably a reference to famed escape artist Harry Houdini.
According to the Dance The Night singer’s post, after London, the events will take place in Los Angeles on 14 November and Tokyo on 20 November.
She has not yet disclosed the specific locations of the events, how many tickets will be available or what the mystery celebrations will include.
In 2022, the Levitating hitmaker revealed that her next album would be “different” to the ones she had previously released.
“The album is different – it’s still pop but it’s different sonically, and there’s more of a lyrical theme. If I told you the title, everything would make sense – but I think we’ll just have to wait,” she told Variety at the time.
Houdini is scheduled to drop on Thursday night.
