Dua Lipa paid tribute to one of Versace’s signature motifs while out in London last night: the safety pin.
The singer wore a sequin mini skirt with gold safety-pin detailing and matching neon safety-pin earrings as she attended Versace’s Frieze party in London. The 26-year-old teamed the purple skirt with a shimmering green top and satin heels, and shared close-up images of her outfit on Instagram.
Lipa later posed with Donatella Versace at the event, having previously made her catwalk debut for Versace’s show at Milan Fashion Week in September.
Also at the event were Iris Law, Kristen McMenamy, Kylie Minogue and Liam Payne.
The model and pop star – who was previously the face of Versace’s fall/winter 2021 campaign – made her catwalk debut for Versace wearing an edgy black skirt suit, featuring cutouts held together by neon-hued safety pins. Her look also included black platform sandals and she accessorised with bright teal graphic outliner and matching drop earrings.
Lipa closed the show in a pink metal mesh tank top and matching skirt with a dramatic slit. She walked with Donatella at the end of the show, which was soundtracked by songs from her latest album Future Nostalgia. The star was joined on the catwalk by Gigi Hadid, Irina Shayk, Emily Ratajkowski, Stella Maxwell and Naomi Campbell.
Dua Lipa has long been a muse for Versace, wowing fans in a sheer bedazzled Atelier Versace gown at the 2021 Grammy Awards in March.
