According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo is attempting to persuade Dauid de Gea to join Al Nassr as a player.
After his contentious departure from Manchester United in July, De Gea is currently a free agent.

The 32-year-old player had a fresh contract with the Red Devils before the club decided to back out of the agreement. As a result, the player’s tenure at Old Trafford, which spanned 12 years, came to an end when his contract expired.
During the summer transfer season, clubs from Saudi Arabia and Qatar were still interested in the Spain goalkeeper, while rumors circulated that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid were both interested in signing him.
According to 90min, former Manchester United teammate Ronaldo is actively involved in Al Nassr’s pursuit of De Gea. This information comes from the publication.
Despite this, it is common knowledge that the Spaniard is eager to start a new life with his new wife, Edurne Garcia, in Spain.
The long-term pair was married earlier this summer, and the Daily Mail reports that they will not even consider moving to Saudi Arabia until they have tried all of their other possible destinations first.
Even if it has been reported that De Gea would retire if a major club does not give him the opportunity to become their first-choice goalkeeper, there is still a chance that he will play professionally.
Al Nassr defeated Al Ahli 4-3 on Friday, with Ronaldo scoring his eighth and ninth goals of the Saudi Pro League season.
For the losing team, Franck Kessie and Riyad Mahrez scored goals.
