Hollywood superstar Hugh Jackman has revealed the significant meaning behind a photo of himself praying in London.
The 56-year-old took to Instagram on Thursday and posted an image of himself with with his hands together, as if in prayer, his head tilted skyward and his eyes closed.
He explained he was recreating an image he had taken during the early days of his career.
‘I remembered I took a photo in the spot I had 32 years ago dreaming of one day being there,’ he said in an audio message included in his post.
‘My friend said ”be careful for what you wish for”… and I said yeah be very deliberate about what you wish for because it can come true.’

‘And if you really believe it will.’
Hugh told followers that before he became a professional performer he had a ‘wish’ to join Britain’s National Theatre.
He was so passionate about his ambition that young Hugh had a photo of himself taken standing out in front of the London theatre in which he can be seen ‘praying’ for his dream to come.
Three years after the photo was taken, Hugh was starring in the National Theatre’s acclaimed production of the stage musical Oklahoma!
The Wolverine star shared how he hung the photo over his bed the entire time he was completing his acting studies at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAPA).

Hugh shot to fame after graduating from WAPA in 1994 when he got a role on the ABC’s drama series Correlli, which starred the actor’s former wife, Deborah-Lee Furness.
Only four years later, in 1998 he appeared on stage in the lead role of Curly in Oklahoma in London’s West End. The part led to international stardom.
Hugh is now set to star in the new Deadpool film.
The star recently revealed the hardest part of returning to his role as superhero Wolverine in the new blockbuster.

He said as his age catches up to him, training to transform himself into the buff big screen beast is tougher than ever.
‘The hardest bit … [was] the food,’ the Free Guy actor told People magazine this week.
‘I have to eat a lot. For me, for my body type, I’m naturally skinny. To get the size on, that’s the hardest bit. That’s the bit that does my head in.’
He added: ‘My body was a little sore at the beginning, but I was thrilled that my body was still responding. And I realised how good it is for your brain.
