And on Monday, Hugh Jackman took to social media to show off a giant fish he’d caught whilst fishing in New York’s Montauk.

However, after flaunting the hefty sea creature, the actor released it back into the ocean.

On Thursday, Hugh Jackman shared a baby-faced photo of himself from the 2009 Annual Kid’s Choice Awards in California.

In the throwback image, the Australian actor – who was aged 40 at the time – was covered in a thick layer of slim after being ducked in the famous stage proceedings. 

With a big smile displayed across his clean shaven face, the hunk pulled his tongue out for the camera as his hair stiffened by the substance.

‘There are times, all these years later, that I STILL think I taste that slime!!! #throwbackthursday,’ Hugh captioned the image.

Last month, Hugh said his final goodbye to his Marvel Comics role of Wolverine as he shaved his beard after filming wrapped.
