According to Mundo Deportivo, after photos of Messi visiting Camp Nou were posted just two hours after it was posted, Barca quickly issued a statement to the media claiming that Messi had requested permission to enter through security personnel from the company “Limak,” who then forwarded the request to the club.

According to them, Barcelona quickly agreed, saying, “Messi will always be welcome here (at Barca).”

However, sources close to Messi denied the claims, insisting that he had not asked for permission or coordinated with anyone at all — the visit was purely his spontaneous decision. 👀

The most puzzling thing is how Messi was able to enter the stadium without Barcelona’s knowledge or prior coordination with the club?

🚨 Barcelona president Joan Laporta was asked by reporters today for his thoughts on Lionel Messi’s visit to Spotify Camp Nou.
