Ariana Grande shines as Glinda in a sneak peek of ‘Wicked’ following her defense of her slender physique.

Ariana Grande plays Glinda the Good Witch in Jon M. Chu’s movie adaptation of “Wicked,” the first part of which hits theaters on Nov. 27, 2024.

Taking on the role originated by Kristin Chenoweth, Grande stars opposite Cynthia Erivo, who’s playing Elphaba (originally portrayed by Idina Menzel on Broadway).

On Sunday, the “Positions” singer shared a dimly lit production still of her look for the film on Instagram.

Fans went wild for the teaser, dropping comments including, “i think i just passed out,” “i can’t believe it’s getting real” and “i’m crying real tears right now.”

The new set photos come after Grande addressed “concerns” about her changing body, with some claiming the star looked “too thin” in recent paparazzi pics.

Grande assured followers she’s “healthy.”

In a candid three-minute TikTok, the songstress said she’s “healthy,” and asked her followers to think carefully before commenting on other people’s appearances.

“The body that you’ve been comparing my current body to was the unhealthiest version of my body. I was on a lot of antidepressants and drinking on them and eating poorly,” she said.

“[I was] at the lowest point of my life when I looked the way you consider my healthy, but that in fact wasn’t my healthy.”
