ACECO Engineering & Construction, the firm in charge of the White House East Wing demolition, has called out President Donald Trump over unpaid balances for their services in demolishing the historic building.

ACECO Engineering and Construction Calls Out President Trump Over Unpaid Balances for White House East Wing Demolition

Washington, D.C. — ACECO Engineering and Construction, the company overseeing the controversial demolition of the White House East Wing, has publicly accused President Donald Trump of failing to pay outstanding balances for the high-profile project.

According to a statement reportedly released by the firm’s spokesperson, the company has been awaiting full payment for months following the completion of demolition work that sparked national outrage and legal scrutiny over the destruction of a historic landmark.

“We carried out our work in good faith, under a federal contract approved by the Trump administration,” the statement read. “However, despite repeated communications, several invoices remain unpaid. We are now left with no choice but to pursue appropriate legal and administrative action to recover what is owed.”

The demolition of the East Wing, which housed key offices and ceremonial rooms dating back to the Roosevelt era, has been at the center of legal battles and public backlash. Heritage and preservation groups, including the National Trust for Historic Preservation, have condemned the act as a violation of federal environmental and historic preservation laws.

President Trump, who authorized the demolition earlier this year as part of what he called a “modernization of America’s seat of power,” has not publicly responded to ACECO’s claims. The White House Press Office declined to comment when reached for clarification.

Analysts say this dispute adds another layer of controversy to an already explosive issue that has drawn attention from the Supreme Court and multiple federal agencies.
