Dua Lipa made the most of a rare day off on Thursday as she soaked up the sun in Florida, less than 24-hours after launching her world tour.
The British singer showed off her lithe physique in an orange and yellow patterned string ʙικιɴι while reclining on a sun-lounger close to picturesque Miami Beach.
Revealing her numerous tattoos, Dua, 26, stretched out with a paperback copy of author Khaled Hosseini’s bestselling 2007 novel A Thousand Splendid Suns.
The star was joined by a female friend as she topped up her tan after making her way onto the popular beach with her belongings stashed inside a Japanese Manga inspired tote bag.
Dua will have little time to appreciate Miami’s humid climate, with her Future Nostalgia tour scheduled to visit Atlanta following her final Florida performance in Orlando on Friday evening.
The enormous tour will feature a total of 82 shows across four legs, with her final show expected to take place at Perth’s RAC Arena on November 16.
Her first show took place in front of a sell-out crowd at Miami’s FTX Arena on Wednesday evening.
Dua originally announced her Future Nostalgia Tour in December 2019, but it was postponed several times due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Named after her second studio album, it was postponed for a final time in March 2020 due to concerns surrounding the respiratory virus.
The tour is being produced by Ceremony London, promoted by Live Nation and sponsored by Truly Hard Seltzer.
Megan Thee Stallion, Griff, Tove Lo, Angèle, Caroline Polachek and Lolo Zouaï will serve as supporting acts on the tour.
Dua’s second album, released in 2020, won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album and its lead single Don’t Start Now attained critical success, including Grammy nominations for Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance.
