Through Match of the Day, former Man City defender Micah Richards praised Craig Dawson’s special performance.

And Richards singled out Dawson’s performance in defense that silenced Pep Guardiola’s goal machine. Haaland only had one shot in the whole match and the Wolves defender really made the Norwegian player have a day to forget.
“Craig Dawson was fantastic against Man City,” Richards told Match of the Day.
“Honestly, he is an underrated defender. No matter which club he is at, he does well. And today, he played excellently.
“When facing Haaland, Dawson did not let him out of his sight from the beginning. He was ready to fight Haaland. He always knew where he was.
“This is the dullest match I’ve seen from Haaland since he came to Man City. Just one shot. It’s crazy.”
