Wolverine is from Canada.
Hugh Jackman is from Australia.
So doesn’t it make sense that the Wolverine character should ride a motorcycle from Italy? (Other than the Ducati Diavel Cromo he rode in The Wolverine movie, that is.)

Of course it does, and you can read all about it in the new special edition Marvel comic book that’s coming out next month.
Journey of Time, as the custom comic is called, will commemorate the brand new Moto Guzzi V100 Mandello, which itself commemorates the company’s 100th anniversary.
Like all mutants, superheroes, villains, and anti-heroes, Wolverine has a plenty of ghosts in his past and he’s battling them in this new story as well as taking on Bullseye, one of Marvel’s most lethal super villains.
The V100 Mandello figures prominently in Wolverine’s history (I’m not sure how seeing as it’s a new model), but anyway, there is also a mysterious woman from his past as well. The plot thickens!
Like all adventure stories, there’s a chase scene in which our hero (the bike) is the star of the show.
Maybe all our questions of when and how Wolverine and Moto Guzzi became an item will be revealed when we learn about his connection with the first series V7.
The V100 Mandello is a liquid cooled twin (what did you expect?) that’s fully loaded with an electronic riding-support package.
So, get yourself to your nearest participating Moto Guzzi dealership (in Italy) next month for your copy of Viaggio nel Tempo (see, now you even learned some Italian today, isn’t life great?) Journey of Time as it’s also known will be available in Italian and English in October at the aforementioned dealerships as well as the Moto Guzzi Museum in Mandello del Lario and in the Piaggio Museum in Pontedera.
